Tingelstad
Tingelstad is a village in the Gran municipality in Oppland, Norway.
The name Tingelstads is derived from the Old Norse male name Þengill. Tingelstad is 5 km away from the neighboring Brandbu and is located near the fourth largest inland lake in Norway Randsfjord and Lake Jarenvatnet. The village has a connection to the municipal road Fylkesvei 240
Furthermore, in the place of the grave mound Halvdanshaugen, where, according to tradition, parts of the body of Halfdan Svarte ( Halfdan the Black ) were buried.
