Tisserand (crater)

Tisserand is an impact crater on the moon northeastern front, east of the crater Macrobius near the western edge of Mare Crisium. The medium-sized, somewhat irregularly shaped crater is moderately eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the French astronomer Félix Tisserand.
