Francesc "Tito" Vilanova i Bayo ( born September 17, 1968 in Bellcaire d' Empordà, Girona Province ) is a former Spanish footballer and current football coach.

From 1 July 2012 until July 19, 2013, he was head coach of FC Barcelona. He took over the post of Josep Guardiola, whose assistant coach, he was the previous four years.

Player

Vilanova played in his youth together with Josep Guardiola of FC Barcelona. While Guardiola made ​​it into the first team, Vilanova remained at FC Barcelona B.
