Todd Duffee

Todd Duffee ( born December 6, 1985 in Evansville, Indiana) is an American MMA fighter.

Biography

Duffee was born in Evansville and grew up in Eldorado ( Illinois). He was trained by Caleb Goldman.

Duffee began the age of sixteen with the boxes. The training was first unprofessional, disorganized and lacked good training partners. When he moved to Atlanta (Georgia), he joined a boxing gym at the right. After Duffee has heard of mixed martial arts, he began to watch old UFC fights. A few days later he was training at a local MMA gym.

His first three fights won Duffee vs. Mike Walbright, Mark Haniger and Josh Bennett. Then he agreed to fight in the main event of Jungle Fights 11 against the UFC and Pride FC veteran Assuerio Silva. He dominated this fight and won by knockout in the second round.

Duffee was set to make his UFC debut against Mostapha Al Turk at UFC 99, the UFC to put down this fight in order to pit him against Mirko Filipović. Next, it was announced that he would compete against Mike Russow, until he was stripped of this match, to compete against Tim Hague.

So in the Undercard he fought at UFC 102 against Hague. In this fight, Duffee put it on the new UFC record for fastest KO after he hit Hague with the first blow after only seven second knockout. After the victory he celebrated and was saying into the camera: "That was a starter, now I want to eat Dana, let me eat! "

Todd Duffee should now meet at UFC 107 on Paul Buentello, but had to withdraw because he injured his back.

Duffee was accepted at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and is currently looking for a new training stable. He looked at Xtreme Couture Mixed Martial Arts Fight Team and wall, then opted for the former.

At UFC 114 in May 2010 Duffee should then still compete against Mike Russow. This defeated him in the third round by knockout.
