Todd Gillman

Todd Gillman ( born February 24, 1967 in Winnipeg, Manitoba ) is a former Canadian ski jumper.

Career

On January 17, 1985 Gillman made ​​his international debut at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1985 in Seefeld in Tirol. He jumped on the normal hill on the 62nd. His debut in the Ski Jumping World Cup gave Gilman on December 30, 1985 at the opening event of the Four Hills Tournament 1985/86 in Oberstdorf. He remained, however - as with the other three competitions of the tour - unsuccessfully.

The World Cup season 1987/88 he started with an 8th place on December 19 on the normal hill in Sapporo. He won the first World Cup points and was also able to thus achieve the highest finish of his career. On the second day in Sapporo he reached 10th place World Cup points, thus ending the season in 44th place in the overall World Cup standings.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988 Gillman jumped on the normal hill on the 42nd and on the large hill on the 54th Place. In the team competition, he reached the 9th place together with Horst Bulau, Ron Richards and Steve Collins.

In the Four Hills Tournament 1988/89 Gillman landed only on the rear seats. Its active ski jumping career, he finished with the participation of the Nordic World Ski Championships 1989 in Lahti. He jumped to 40th place on the normal hill. From the large hill he reached the 63rd place.
