Tokyo Metropolitan Television

Tokyo MX is the television station of the media company Tokyo Metropolitan Television KK (Japanese東京 メトロポリタン テレビ ジョン 株式会社, Tōkyō Metoroporitan Terebijon Kabushiki - gaisha, Eng. Tokyo Metropolitan Television Broadcasting Corp.. ). He is the only private, which covers only the Tokyo Prefecture. He competes as an independent station with Nippon Television, TV Asahi, TBS, TV Tokyo and Fuji TV, each of the beacon transmitter of their nationwide networks.

It was founded on 30 April 1993 and commenced on 1 November of that same year with the transfer of his program. The analog antenna broadcast was set on 24 July 2011.
