Tolga Seyhan

Tolga Seyhan ( born January 17, 1977 in Giresun, Turkey ) is a former Turkish football player.

Career

Association

The defender started his professional career at Malatyaspor in 2001. In January 2004 he moved to Trabzonspor, where he remained until the end of the season 2004/2005. In July 2005 he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukraine. Overall, he played in the Turkish Süper Lig 27 games for Trabzonspor, while scored a goal and got a yellow card four times. In the UEFA Cup, he played a total of eight matches, and got 2 yellow cards. For the 2006/2007 season he moved on loan to Galatasaray. After the season, he returned to Shakhtar Donetsk. Tolga Seyhan moved again on loan to Trabzonspor, where he played in 2004. In the 2008/2009 season he moved to Kocaelispor and on 20 January 2009 at Hacettepe SK. After the descent of the team he will play next season for Gençlerbirliği.

With the end of his contract with the second division Giresunspor the summer of 2011, he ended his active career football player.

National

Seyhan played from 2004 to 2006 a total of 14 caps for the Turkish national football team. He scored a goal and got a total of two yellow cards. Previously, he played twice for the Turkish U- 21 team and once for the second selection of the Turkish national football team.
