Tom Aldredge
Thomas Ernest "Tom" Aldredge ( born February 28, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio; † July 22, 2011 in Tampa, Florida ) was an American actor.
Life
Tom Aldredge was born and raised in Dayton, the son of Lucienne Juliet (née Marcillat ) and the officer in the United States Army WJ Aldredge on. Since 1963 he has worked as a film actor, but also acted in TV serials with. In 1978 he received an Emmy Award for his role in Henry Winkler Meets Shakespeare. On Broadway, he appeared in nearly thirty stage productions and was in the years 1972, 1975, 1981, 1994 and 2004 nominated for a Tony Award.
Aldredge was married since 1953 with the costume designer Theoni V. Aldredge ( 1932-2011 ). He died at the age of 83 years of lymphatic cancer at a hospice in Tampa, Florida.
