Tom Drake

Tom " Buddy" Drake ( Richard Alden, real name Alfred Sinclair Alderdice, . * August 5, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York City; † August 11, 1982 in Torrance, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Drake made ​​his debut in 1938 in the Broadway play Clean Beds and was occupied in the following years in films from MGM in supporting roles. A first major role in the war drama The White Cliffs of Dover ( 1944) film editing fell victim. He had greater success as a partner of Judy Garland in the 1944 also created movie musical Meet Me in St. Louis.
