Tom Geißler

Tom Geissler ( born September 12, 1983 in Oschatz ) is a German football player.

Career

In his youth Geissler played for FSV Oschatz and VfB Leipzig. In 2000 he moved to FC Sachsen Leipzig, which he ascended into the Football Regional. During the winter break of the 2003/04 season signed him the second division Wacker Burghausen.

2005 moved Geissler for 250,000 Euros to Bundesliga 1 FSV Mainz 05 Under coach Jürgen Klopp he came to 15 appearances as a substitute - he was never in the grid. In Jena, he received a two-year contract. At the end of the 2012/13 season Geissler reached Jena into second place with 14 points behind RB Leipzig.
