Tom Wright (actor)

Tom Wright ( born November 29, 1952 in Englewood, New Jersey), actually Harold Thomas Wright, is an American actor and stuntman.

Life

Wright attended the University of West Chester, Pennsylvania. In 1977, he played a first small film role. He then had mainly theater engagements at theaters in Philadelphia and Off- Broadway. In 1981, he appeared alongside Amanda Plummer in Shelagh Delaney's A Taste of Honey on Broadway; production and Plummer were each nominated for a Tony Award.

From the mid to late 1980s, he worked on several successful Hollywood productions as a stuntman. From 1987, he held several feature film roles, including Ghetto Busters ( I'm Gonna Git You Sucka ) by Keenen Ivory Wayans. As a result, he also appeared in guest roles in various television series. From 1998 to 1999 he played a starring role in the series Martial Law - The Karate Cop. Between 2008 and 2009 he had a recurring role in Crash.
