Toma (Burkina Faso)

Toma is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African state of Burkina Faso in the region Boucle du Mouhoun and the province Nayala. The municipality has 16 villages and seven sectors of the capital of 29,003 inhabitants, in the majority Sanan.

Toma is the capital of the province Nayala and birthplace of the historian and politician Joseph Ki Zerbo -. There is a partnership with Wadern ( Saarland).
