Tomasz Konieczny ( born January 10, 1972 in Łódź) is a Polish bass / baritone and actor

At the Lodz Film Academy, he first studied acting, to then record a vocal studies in Warsaw at the Fryderyk Chopin University, which he then went on to the University of Music Carl Maria von Weber Dresden in the class of Prof. Christian Elßner.

As an actor he appeared in the film ring with the eagle in the crown of Andrzej Wajda. It was followed by other appearances as an actor, including as Tristan in a television production of Tristan and Isolde directed by Krystyna Janda.

As a singer Konieczny was in 1997 a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Poland, of the Alfred Toepfer Foundation from 1998 to 2000 and 1999, the Foundation for Art and Culture of the Sparkasse Dresden. At the 33rd International Dvořák Song Contest 1998 in Karlovy Vary the 2nd prize was awarded to him.
