Tomislav " Tomo " Šokota ( born April 8, 1977 in Zagreb) is a Croatian football player in the service of Dinamo Zagreb, where he plays after his return from Portugal since 2006, before that he was active at Benfica and FC Porto.

Career

Tomislav Šokota played eight games for Croatia. His contract at Porto was until 2009, but he made after a year on the bench no more hopes on longer missions and returned back to Dinamo Zagreb in 2006. The center forward is unpredictable because of his both feet for defender. 2005/ 06 was Šokota free transfer come from Benfica, where he had played for four years. 2001 him the club had acquired from the Portuguese capital of 1.5 million euros. The money went to Dinamo Zagreb, where he had played for four years. Šokotas youth club was NK Samobor.
