Toni Kallio (2011)

Toni Kallio ( born August 9, 1978 in Tampere ) is a Finnish football player who is usually used as a full-back, but can also play in central defense, and has a contract with Thai champions Muang Thong United.

Career

The defensive player began his career in his native Finland in Tampere PV, in which up to 1999 he was active in 1996 and during this time was also on loan at FC Jazz Pori in use. Then Kallio signed at HJK Helsinki. There he made ​​a breakthrough and the Finn was one of the capital club to the permanent staff. In August 2004, the defender joined the Norwegian club Molde FK, which in the final against Lillestrøm SK he won the Norwegian Cup competition the following year. In February 2007, Kallio was committed from Bern's city club BSC Young Boys and stood in the subsequent period with the team in the Axpo Super League action. Subsequently, however, the Finnish national team spent most of his time in London on the bench and completed until the end of the season 2009/10, only four appearances in the Premier League.
