Tonino Valerii

Tonino Valerii ( born May 20, 1934 in Montorio al Vomano ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter. He made his name primarily in the sub-genre of spaghetti westerns. Valerii (also known as Tony Valeri ) began his career as Assistant Director at A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More Sergio Leone. These two films were groundbreaking for its style as an independent director. This is in his first two major Western productions Death rode Tuesday and Bloody lead significantly.

Valerii became famous with his parody of the old western My Name Is Nobody, where he worked again with Leone. But through slapstick -like German dubbing of the film slowed considerably statement and quality. A more extreme example of the strong change of films with the help of cutting and synchronizing his film is you sell death. The film, starring James Coburn and Bud Spencer is quite a normal Western and not a comedy. After the post-production in Germany, the film was then the thickness and the warthog was strongly reduced and the dialogues are a very silly.
