Tony Bloom

Tony " The Lizard " Bloom ( born March 20, 1970 in Brighton, Sussex ) is an English poker player. He got his nickname from an old friend, who claimed Bloomberg had alligator blood.

He appeared in the Late Night Poker Series and sat at the final table of the World Poker Tour. He also sat in the first two tournaments at Poker Million final table.

His first grand prize, a total of U.S. $ 320,000 he won in January 2004, when he took first place at the Aussie Millions in Melbourne.

Bloom won on 5 August 2005 the £ 5,000 No Limit Hold'em VC Poker Cup Final in London and thus a cash prize of £ 200,000.

In 2005 he finished the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions in fourth place.

He was a member of the victorious British team at 888.com Poker Nations Cup.

Currently are its revenue at over $ 3.3 million by official poker tournaments.
