Tony Sbarbaro

Anthony " Tony" Sbarbaro (called " Spargo " * June 27, 1897 in New Orleans, † 30 October 1969 in Queens in New York City ) was an American jazz drummer of the New Orleans Jazz.

Tony Sbarbaro played with Ernest Giardina and George Brunies and was from 1915 to 1925 a member of the Original Dixieland Jass Band in Chicago and again in their new formation for recordings in the years 1935 until 1943. He was also involved in recordings of Eddie Condon and Phil Napoleon.
