Tor Ulven

Tor Ulven ( born November 14, 1953 in Oslo, † 18 May 1995) was a Norwegian writer.

Life

Tor Ulven debuted in 1977 with poems. Although during his lifetime he published only one novel itself, he influenced many Norwegian writers of the postwar period. Severely depressed he killed himself at the age of 41 years in his native city has to offer.

In the Norwegian film Reprise ( 2006), which is about two young writers, the fictional model of the main characters is designed to Tor Ulven.

2012 was the ( by Bernhard Strobel for the publisher Droschl translated ) German version of his short story collection darkness at the end of the tunnel ( Vente og ikke s) with the book price of the independent German publishers ( Hotlist ) excellent.
