Torgny T:son Segerstedt

Torgny T: son Segerstedt ( born August 11, 1908 in Mellerud, Sweden, † January 28, 1999 in Uppsala ) was a Swedish philosopher and sociologist. It was founded in 1947 Sweden's first professor of sociology. From 1955 to 1978 he was director of the University of Uppsala.

Segerstedt honor is awarded by the University of Uppsala Monismania the Prize since 1975.
