Torhouse

The slightly oval stone circle of Torhousekie (also Torhouse ) is located about 5.5 km to the west of Wigtown near the B733 in the Scottish county of Dumfries and Galloway. The circle stands on an artificial mound of earth and stones.

The 21.4 × 20 m measured circle consists of 19 stones with a height of 0.6 to 1.4 m. The highest is in the southeast. It provides with its three centrally positioned stones a variety of primarily spread in Kincardineshire and Aberdeenshire Stone Circles dar. A. Burl sees him as a link between the circles in southwest Ireland and the North East of Scotland.

South of the circle stands a menhir and to the east is about 125 meters from a stone row consisting of three stones.
