Torri Edwards

Torri Edwards ( born January 31, 1977 in Fontana, California) is an American track and field athlete.

Your special disciplines are the 100-meter and 200 -meter run. At the World Athletics Championships in Paris in 2003 she became world champion over 100 meters and it took about 200 m in second place. The U.S. 4 × 100 meters relay she also won a bronze medal at the Summer Olympics 2000.

On August 7, 2004 Torri Edwards has been banned for doping for two years. They had previously tested positive for the stimulant nikethamide. The athlete had previously qualified for the 100 and 200 meters and the sprint relay for the 2004 Summer Olympics, where they are no longer able to attend. At the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka, she won gold with the 4 × 100 - meter relay.
