Toshiyuki Horie

Toshiyuki Horie (Japanese堀 江 敏 幸, Horie Toshiyuki; born January 3, 1964 Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture) is a Japanese writer and translator.

Horie studied French literature at Waseda University. This was followed by graduate studies in sociology at the University of Tokyo and a PhD degree at the Sorbonne in Paris. In 2004 he became a professor at Meiji University, in 2007 at Waseda University.
