Tour of Southland

The Tour of Southland is a leader in several stages road race in the Southland region of New Zealand.

Since 2005, the aligned in November competition is part of the UCI Oceania Tour. The race is Internationale (UCI ) classified by the Union Cycliste with 2.2. The main sponsor of the race, PowerNet, is an energy supplier to the Southland region. It is organized by the UCI and Cycling Southland.

Since 2010 it is no longer part of the UCI calendar.

  • King of the Mountains ( Hydraulink ) - mountains classification
  • Sprint Ace ( Harcourts Real Estate ) - This sprint classification based on intermediate sprints.
  • Under 23 Classification ( Regent Car Court ) - standings after total time for riders in the UCI category " under 23 "
  • Team Classification ' ( Avanti Plus Wensley Cycles ) - Team rating based on the sum of the three best individual rider of the team of the individual stages.
