Tracing paper
Transparent paper referred less the production of a paper type other than their use. Transparent papers are produced for a variety of uses by different manufacturing processes translucent ( transparent).
Uses
- As tracing paper to make copies of an original drawing by means of in the visual arts
- Technical drawings, particularly in the architecture
- Laboratory applications, for example as a membrane
- For simple hygrometer
- Formerly as insulating paper in capacitors
Producing species
- Tissue Paper: You are not really classic transparent papers. Since they are made very thin, they appear to be relatively transparent.
- Impregnated papers: Through impregnated with drying oils, resins, waxes, fats, a paper is made from crisp milled fibers transparent sa baking paper
- Vegetable product Parchment: A paper from wood pulp is dissolved in a sulfuric acid bath. The partially dissolved cellulose fills the interstices of the paper, which becomes transparent. In a final bath, the sulfuric acid is washed out again.
- Naturpauspapiere: greasy milled fibers, which are then often but still impregnated in addition.
- Glassine: Through greasy grind the pulp and then extremely strong calendering, the air is removed from between the fibers.
