Trasona

Trasona ( Asturian Tresona ) is one of seven parroquias in the municipality of Corvera the autonomous community of Asturias in Spain. The 2103 inhabitants ( 2011) living in 16 villages, covering an area of 8.32 km ².

Trasona is at nearby for a power center of the canoe and rowing sport reservoir " Embalse de Trasona " known. The industrial plants of Aceralia and Fertiberia are the largest employers in the region. Besides the classic livestock industry is a major source of income with the cheese processing.
