Travel Sick

Travel Sick is a British television series that is a mixture of comedy and travel show. They ran from 2001 to 2002 at the British television Bravo. The journalist and presenter Grub Smith was exposed in each episode in a different region of the world. At each venue him five tasks were provided by the producers of the television show. If he did not pass, it was demanded at the end of the program to complete something unpleasant for him. The more tasks he did not exist, the worse was the penalty at the end of the broadcast. In order to promote the TV series, 2001, a flash computer game was produced.

In the United States, the TV series was broadcast on Comedy Central and in Germany from 2004 to 2005 VIVA.

A German adaptation of the TV series was the television series travels Elton, which aired on ProSieben.

German Adaptation: Elton travels

Elton traveling is a German comedy series that was produced in 2010 and aired starting June 11, 2011, various Saturdays at shortly after 23 clock on ProSieben. In each episode Elton traveling to a different country and each must meet six " typical " tasks. During his trip, a punishment he is also presented, which he has to undergo for each task failed. In each country, Elton has a " Guide", the tasks are or help with translations.
