Travis Rice

Travis Rice ( born October 9, 1982 Jackson Hole, Wyoming) is a successful American professional snowboarder.

Biography

Travis came at a very young age in contact with snow, at the age of 11 he got his first snowboard, which soon replaced his skis. Soon he joined the local snowboard team, but originally, to have an excuse for absence from school. He participated in the first regional and national competitions.

In 2001, he finished his education at the Jackson Hole High School and was dedicated to the sport of snowboarding, although he had no specific sponsor. On the recommendation of a friend filmmaker Rich Goodwin became aware of Travis and produced with him a little video in Alaska. A year later, he had sponsors and participated in various national and international competitions and was able to occupy spots in the first ranks.

Today Travis Rice is a professional snowboarder in several disciplines of the sport belongs to the same world class. On 2 December 2006, he also won the legendary Air & Style Contest in Munich with a double backflip 180

Movies

2006 film That's It, That's All was shot with director Curt Morgan, who had 2008 premiere. In September 2011, the film The Art of Flight, shot with the same team, was published.
