Quiksilver

Quiksilver Inc. is an American corporation which was founded in Australia in 1969. The company is active in outdoor sports and has several fashion brands such as Quiksilver, Roxy and DC Shoes. The main office is located in Huntington Beach, California. The European headquarters is located in France on the Atlantic coast of Aquitaine in Saint -Jean -de- Luz.

In addition to surfboards, it provides mainly for surfing and the related board sports ( skateboarding and snowboarding) and her clothes in this field world market leader. Quiksilver sponsors various known snowboarders, surfers and skaters such as the eleven times world champion Kelly Slater, the professional snowboarder Travis Rice, Hampus Mosesson and Mathieu Crepel and the professional skater Tony Hawk.

2005 Quiksilver teamed up with the winter and alpine sports equipment manufacturer Rossignol. In November 2008, the sale of the Rossignol Group by Quiksilver was completed.

In Germany Quiksilver operates its own retail stores and three outlet stores. In 2008, the first Roxy Store opened in Hameln. Other franchise shops there since October 2008 in other German cities.
