The Peace of Stockholm from 21 Januarjul. / February 1 1720greg. was a part of peace in the Great Northern War. He ended the war between Prussia and Sweden. Prussia won, upon payment of 2 million thalers, Stettin, Pomerania up to the Peene, and the islands of Usedom and Wolin. These areas were since 1713, with an interruption in 1715 for Usedom, under Prussian occupation. This peace meant for Prussia a further step in the direction of German great power, while he was yet another setback for Sweden. The loss of power in Sweden on the Baltic Sea continued on.
