Trentino Volley

Trentino Volley, also known as ITAS Diatec Trentino, is an Italian volleyball club, the first in the Italian league ( Serie A1 ) plays.

History

Trentino Volley was created on 23 May 2000 from the ITAS BTB, from Mezzo Lombardo, a team that played in the second Italian league (A2).

Trentino Volley earned the right to play for the highest league of Ravenna. The first venue was the sports hall of Gardolo, but this was too small for matches in the first league, the club moved to the Palaghiaie of Trent, which was called on PalaTrento.

In his first season ( 2000-01 ), the association placed in the middle (10 °). A first for the Championship play-off, the club is qualified in its fourth season ( 2002-03 ), a company that he has since repeated each year and in 2006 with the fourth stop place until then best result was obtained.

Since 2008 Trentino is an Italian and European top team and has been four times club champion and three times winner of the Champions League, Italian Champion and Italian Cup Winners' Cup.
