Trigger Happy TV

Trigger Happy TV ( trigger happy, dt: trigger-happy, alternatively Happy Trapper TV) is a British entertainment show with a hidden camera on TV that can be described in the broadest sense as anarcho- comedy. Inventor, producer and actor is Dom Joly. On German television two seasons were broadcast by ProSieben. Until the program setting on 3 June 2006 Trigger Happy TV was sent at NICK Comedy, 2008, Comedy Central Germany. In country of England it was sent on Channel 4.

A main theme of the show was a joke, in which Dom Joly calls took on a huge cell phone and shouted into a full-throated, usually in a rather quiet environment such as an art gallery or a library. Other examples of the bizarre British humor that characterizes the whole consignment: a supposed reporter during an interview ( with an uninitiated ) a buskers smashes the guitar over his head or an exterminator who is called to an apartment, a man in mouse Costume distribute. Many animal costumes ( rabbit, squirrel, snail, worm, etc. ) are an essential element of the bizarre jokes. The second key element is the element of surprise (eg speaks a man with many piercings and tattered, labeled with war slogans clothing passersby on the street to talk about classical music or intellectual culture).

Based on Trigger Happy TV, the German format Comedystreet with Simon Gosejohann ( ProSieben), the Austrian formats really fat (ORF 1) and Unkürrekt ( ATVplus ) and the Swiss format Rätpäck are (SF 1).
