Triptych of Nava and Grimon

The Nava - Grimón Triptych is an altarpiece, which is attributed to the Flemish painter Pieter Coecke van Aelst and his workshop.

On the middle panel, it shows birth of Christ, on the two side panels circumcision and the Presentation of the Lord is presented in the temple. When closed, the two side wings, the Annunciation to Mary and the Archangel Gabriel in grisaille. Dated it is to the year 1546.

This triptych is the most famous exhibit of the Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes de Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands (Spain).
