Troels Vinther

Troels Ronning Vinther (born 24 February 1987) is a Danish cyclist. He is 1.82 meters tall, his racing weight is 71 kilograms.

Troels Vinther 2005 won in the junior class in which he started for the club Vejle CK, a stage of the Tour du Pays de Vaud, a stage at the Grand Prix Rüebliland and he was the first in the total and the mountains classification at Liège- La gleize. In the Danish championship he won the junior road race. In 2006 he drove for the Danish team Glud & Marstrand Horsens, where he was third in the national championship in the seniors. 2007 and 2008 drove Vinther for the Swedish ProTour team Unibet.com (2008 Cycle Collstrop ) before he returned to Denmark for Team Capinordic and then Glud & Marstrand - LRO. In the latter team's jersey, he completed a strong 2011 season and won the one-day race Grand Prix Herning as well as a stage of the Circuit des Ardennes in France.

Vinther 2012 by the Danish ProTeam Saxo Bank was signed, which had been watching him for some time. Here, he should first take, especially tasks as a helper.

His debut for Saxo Bank celebrated Vinther end of January 2012 at the Tour de San Luis in Argentina. Here he acted mainly as a helper for the two Lucas Sebastian Haedo Sprinter and his brother Juan José and leader Alberto Contador and participated in the peloton with his leadership again and again to obtain any outliers. He finished the Tour, finishing 94th in early February, he played at the Trofeo Deia in the Mallorca Challenge then also his first appearance in Europe.
