Tsomon Ling
Tshemönling ( Tshe smon gling ) is a monastery of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism in Lhasa. He was one of four regency Temple ( gling bzhi ) Lhasa and was built in the 17th century, after the 5th Dalai Lama, both the sacred and the secular power had taken over. The monastery brought forth three regents who also Ganden Thripa, ie the nominal head of the Gelug School, were: The first was Ngawang Tshülthrim (1721-1791; reg 1777-1780. ), the second Ngawang Jampel Tshülthrim Gyatsho (1792 -; reg 1818-1844? . ) and the third Ngawang Lobsang Tenpe Gyeltshen (1844-1919; reg 1910-1912. ).
