Tuesday Weld

Tuesday Weld ( born August 27, 1943 as Susan Ker Weld in New York City ) is an American actress.

Life and work

Tuesday Weld had a not very easy childhood and very difficult adolescence. Her father died when she was three years old, and her mother earned the livelihood of the family then, among other things, that they marketed the little Susan as an advertising model. Even then, her name has been changed to Tuesday Weld. At age nine, she suffered a nervous breakdown, even with ten, she began to drink, with eleven she had the first love affairs. When Stanley Kubrick planned his novel adaptation of Lolita, it was long regarded as the first choice for the title role, which was eventually taken over by Sue Lyon. Among the best known films in which she was involved, one Once upon a time in America (1984 ), in which she played the lover of James Woods. In the 1960s, she made headlines as a lover of Elvis Presley, as it is already officially with Priscilla was with.

Tuesday Weld was married in first marriage with the writer Claude resin. Later she married the actor Dudley Moore, her third marriage, she joined with the world class violinist Pinchas Zukerman.
