Tughlaq dynasty

The Tughluq Dynasty ( Persian: سلطنت تغلق ) of the North Indian Delhi Sultanate was founded in 1320 as Ghazi Tughluq came to the throne under the title of Ghiyas -ud -din Tughluq. The Tughluqs were a Muslim dynasty of Turkish origin. Their rule was based on Turkish, Afghan, and other Muslim mercenaries, who were recruited from other regions of Middle East and Central Asia.
