Türkbükü

Göltürkbükü is a circle Bodrum belonging to the congregation of the Turkish province of Muğla.

Location

The place is located in the north of the Bodrum Peninsula. In the north and east Göltürkbükü borders on the Aegean Sea, on the west by Gündoğan and to the southeast by Torba.

Management

Göltürkbükü was founded on 18 April 1999 through the merger of the formerly independent places Gölköy and Türkbükü. Mayor is Halil Ibrahim Kaynar.

Population

The town has 3,250 inhabitants. In some months the population increases - due to second homes - up to 10.000. Göltürkbükü is a popular vacation home of the Turkish high society.
