Turkuaz Airlines was a Turkish airline based in Istanbul and base at the airport Ataturk.

History

Turkuaz Airlines was founded in 2007 in Istanbul and started operations on 28 October 2008. In November 2010, the Company, the flight permit was revoked after financial difficulties, the company could not perform more domestic flights in Turkey. At the turn of 2010/2011 is an increasingly serious financial difficulties became apparent, the employees of the company had not received several months' salary. In December 2010, when they stopped completely and returned the aircraft to the lessor.

Destinations

Since the September 22, 2010 Turkuaz Airlines started with three to four aircraft domestic flights from Ankara to various Turkish cities. The remaining aircraft flew in the wet lease or for various operators to Israel and Iran. The airline flew last no longer to Germany. Have been performed charter flights to Turkish resorts such as Antalya, Izmir or Istanbul from Germany until September 2010. In the UK, Birmingham, Manchester and London Stansted were served.
