TuS Komet Arsten

The TuS Komet Arsten (until 2006: TuS Arsten ) is a German Gymnastics and Sports Association of the Bremen district Obervieland with divisions for football, handball, badminton, basketball, dog sports, athletics, taekwondo, dancing, tennis, table tennis, gymnastics and volleyball. The club from the south of Bremen currently has 2300 members.

History

The club was founded in 1901 as pyramids and acrobats Club Frisch Auf Arsten, two years later in workers Turnverein Jahn Arsten renamed itself. In 1919, the football department was formed, as SV unity Arsten - Habenhausen became independent under the Clean Lichen divorce in 1922.
