Two Cars, One Night is a New Zealand short film from the year 2004.

Action

Before the pub and restaurant " Te Kaha Hotel " the two brothers Ed and Romeo have to wait in the car in the parking lot while their parents enjoy indoors. You wait forever. Ed reads a book about Crazy Horse and is distracted by it. But Romeo is bored. Suddenly another car stops next to them, from the off the parents and their daughter Polly leaving waiting. She starts for the two guys to watch, so that Romeo feels provoked and responded with insults and the finger. But she knows how to fight back and scolds back in the same way.

But the time just does not pass. Polly and Romeo bored. Romeo goes over to the other car and begins a conversation with her. After he is still initially gruff, he switches over to insult his brother and befriends characterized with Polly. That's far too much absorbed in his reading, as he would be interested in it. But at least make friends as Polly and Romeo, so Romeo spends the waiting time at Polly in the car until their parents return. As she leaves, she gives him a small diamond ring and he looks her sad goodbye afterwards.
