Tyler Bates
Tyler Bates ( * in Los Angeles ) is an American music producer and composer.
Life
Bates grew up in Chicago. In 1993 he founded the Formation Pet Both got a recording contract with Atlantic Records and were among others on the soundtrack of The Crow with vocalist Lisa Papineau: City of Angels represented. In addition, Bates produced other artists and was represented as a guitarist on albums by " Vas " and the " Beastie Boys".
During this time, Tyler Bates composed the first pieces for movies. Since 2000, he does so exclusively. Besides, he is a drummer in Jbot.
2007 and 2009, he was honored each with a BMI film music award, 2010, he received for his work on the series Californication BMI Cable Award.
