Ubuntu Local Municipality

Ubuntu is a municipality in the district of Pixley Ka Seme, Northern Cape Province in South Africa. In 2001, the population was 16,368 in a total area of 20,389 km ². The administrative center is Victoria West.

The community name is an isiXhosa word, meaning " humanity." The name was chosen for the main purpose of the community to describe: the public in a human friendly way to serve. Ubuntu refers to a type of African philosophy of life ( Declaration )
