Ujście, Braniewo County

Ujście ( German stake Bude ) is a small residential area in the extreme northwest of the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Braniewo ( Brown Mountain ) in the powiat Braniewski ( circle brown mountain).

Geographical location

Ujście lies on the right bank of the Passarge (Polish: Pasłęka ) next to its mouth into the Vistula Lagoon ( Zalew Wiślany ), two miles from the former fishing village of Stara Pasłęka ( German Alt Passarge ) away. The state border with the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast is four kilometers away from the resort. The place is connected by a road with Braniewo ( Brown Mountain ), which is one of the stations. The distance to the present district town Braniewo is seven kilometers the former district metropolis Heiligenbeil (now Russian: Mamonowo ) is located nine km as the crow flies, but only indirectly via Gronowo ( Grunau ) to reach.
