Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Ternopil – Zboriv
The archeparchy Ternopil - Sboriw (Latin: Archieparchia Ternopoliensis - Zborovensis ) is a location in Ukraine archeparchy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, based in Ternopil.
History
The archeparchy Ternopil - Sboriw was built April 20, 1993 by Pope John Paul II annexations of archeparchy Lviv eparchy as Ternopil. On 21 July 2000, the Eparchy of Ternopil gave parts of their territory establishing the eparchies Buchach and Sokal. The Eparchy of Ternopil was renamed on 21 July 2000 in Eparchy of Ternopil - Sboriw and 2011 raised to the archeparchy.
She was placed under to 2011 the Kiev archeparchy as suffragan.
The archeparchy Ternopil - Sboriw includes the Khmelnytskyi Oblast and the northern part of the Ternopil Oblast. The area is shown in light blue in the middle part of the map.
