Uladzimir Ignatik

Uladzimir Ihnazik (White Russian Уладзімір Ігнацік, Russian Владимир Игнатик; * July 14, 1990 in Minsk) is a Belarusian tennis player.

Career

In his junior career he already reach respectable results. He won the individual competition at the 2007 French Open and reached the singles final at Wimbledon.

Ihnazik as a professional has been able to achieve initial success primarily on the Challenger Tour. In 2009, he won his first title in Toyota against the Japanese Tatsuma Ito. The second singles title came in 2011 in Guangzhou, where he defeated Alexander Kudryavtsev in straight two sets. In doubles, he was able to secure three titles so far, including one with David Marrero in Saint- Brieuc in 2010, and two with Laurynas Grigelis in Wolfsburg and Cherbourg in 2012. For a Grand Slam tournament, Ihnazik could not qualify he failed so far always in the qualifying rounds. His debut on the ATP World Tour stands out so far.

Since 2008 Ihnazik plays for Belarusian Davis Cup team.
