Ultratriathlon
The Ultra Triathlon has emerged over the years as its own triathlon discipline. Regularly World Championships will be held on the respective distances. A well-known Ultra Triathlon its kind taking place in Lensahn / Baltic Sea every year. There are in addition to the typical long distance triathlon ( Ironman), now also the following distances that are managed and organized by the World Association IUTA (International Ultra Triathlon Association).
Distances
- The classic version (all distances at a stretch ) was held in Monterrey in 1992 for the first time.
- The new variant (10 Ironmans in 10 days ) had its world premiere in 2006 in Monterrey / Mexico.
