Uncial 0136

Uncial 0136 ( in the Gregory -Aland numbering, ε von Soden 91) and uncial 137 is a Greek- Arabic Unzialhandschrift the New Testament. Using palaeography it has been dated to the 8th century.

The manuscript contains small parts of the Gospel of Matthew from 14.6 to 13; 25.9 to 16 and 25.41 to 26.1 on three parchment leaves (33 cm × 27 cm). It was written in two columns per page, each with 16 lines in large uncial letters.

The Code comes from Sinai, and is now in the Russian National Library ( Gr. 281) in Saint Petersburg. The manuscript of 0136 was part of the same Code, as uncial 0137th They were separated in the 19th century and cataloged with different numbers. Uncial 0137 contains the text of Math from 13.46 to 52. It is a Greek- Arabic Diglotte. It was found by Rendel Harris in the Sinai. Uncial 0137 is as Harris 9 in St. Catherine's Monastery on Mount Sinai.

The Greek text of the manuscript represents the Byzantine text-type. Aland placed it in Category V.
