Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats

Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats is an English doom metal and psychedelic rock band from Cambridge.

History

The band was founded in 2009. In 2010 appeared with vol 1, the debut album, before 2011, the second album Blood Lust followed. After March 18, 2013, the single Poison Apple was released, the album Mind Control was followed on April 15 via Rise Above Records and on May 14 on Metal Blade Records. The album was recorded at Chapel Studios under the direction of Jim Spencer. The release was followed by two concerts in London.

Style

The group plays a mix of doom metal and psychedelic rock of the 1970s, the guitar riffs are reminiscent of Black Sabbath. According to the company, the band of artists such as Neil Young, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Electric Wizard and The Kinks were affected.
