Underground Sunshine
Sunshine Underground was an American rock band from Montello. It was founded by the German brothers Bert and Frank Kohl. Already their first single, a cover of the Beatles song Birthday, reached number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 followed a television appearance on the popular television show American Bandstand and the publication of the only album the band located at number 161 of the U.S. album charts could place. After three more singles were not able to place in the charts, the formation broke up in 1970.
